She's gone! Sold today...

Went to a good home - someone who appreciates the 996TT as an HPDE and street machine.
I took it to a DE last weekend, and parked it with for sale flyers on it. A guy there who was in the market saw it and we did a deal. I think that the thing that sold him on it happened back in April, when I ran a couple of sessions at Mid-Ohio, nose-to-tail with one of his buddies who has a tube-frame 930. Photo below is to remind me that she's gone. :) Jon |
What are you going to get now?

Good luck with the new car Jon, old red served you well. Hope you don't miss the boost.

And he cleaned out my garage too!
Brake pads, spare rotors, stock exhaust, stock suspension, 2 sets of wheels and tires, ... |
@Tim - not sure, but it will probably have a "3" in the model name. :D
@Larry - thanks. Probably will miss the boost. Maybe that shot of the car from the rear will be the only way I ever see it again. :) |
I am happy for you Jon, congratulation . Hope to see pictures of your next track car. Please post them on this forum because, I guess, you will always be on the GT3 forum now ;-) Good luck with your research!
note: I was in France last week and went for a dinner with our french friend Marc in the south. Was a really pleasant evening. Of course, on the way back to Paris I did a detour (800 kms) towards Stuttgart for a small visit of the factory and the amazing museum ;-)..... |

My wife and I went there at the end of May. I thought the coolest car was #1, Porsche's first. But there was a lot of competition! Jon |
