I'll second MANA's recommendation. The EVO swift-shift is
rock-solid *and* replaces the plastic Porsche parts that can
break and leave you stranded.

Same here the complete "Swiftshift" kit SSK996TT from EVO is great. It,s an easy installation once you get the console apart.

Cheers,

Ben

Would this be considered one of the mods that would "void" the Porsche warranty like the B&M short shifter was in a previous post?
Thanks,
Luis

Thanks! The EVO SSK996TT-kit sounds great...especially since I don't want that much shorter shift throw...~20% sounds just right!

Now to the second question.
Would you say that this is a "do it yourself" job, installing the short shifter? Or would I be better of having my workshop doing the installation?

from what i have read, as long as you arnt a complete technical noob, then it could be a self install? but if your lazy and dont want the hassle let the shop do it.
