Battery Help Car won't Start!

I just changed my battery with an aftermarket one from Battery Plus I messed up big time and put it in backwards (I have changed 100's of battery's and can't believe my stupidity:mad:) After I realized what I did I hooked it back the right way and now it won't start or turn-over all the lights go completely dim after trying to start. My question is did I fry my ECU or RELAY or FUSES if so where do I start:confused: Please any info will be much appreciated I am going crazy thinking I fried my ECU??

Do a search as its happened to others with varying results and costs to repair. My friend did the same on his Magnum srt8 and $4500 later and, a new main wire harness, the car was almost perfect. Good luck

Dang! Hopefully your fuses and breakers saved your car. If not... Man really sorry.... Definitely need to start checking every fuse/breaker over.

Thanks I hope it's something simple I called my mechanic friend and he said most likely a fuse or relay dosent seem to think it's a fried ECU. I am more pissed off at myself for doing such a stupid mistake

Ok after reading a bunch of post today I figured out I blew my fuse in my radio so I replaced it with a 10amp fuse and car started right up :) but Now I have a warning light (Warning battery/generator) the manual says if you see this light to "Stop in a safe place and switch the engine off. Do not continue driving. have the fault remedied at an authorized Porsche Dealer" So what gives do I have to clear this light and hope everything electrical is ok or maybe my alternator could have an issue now?

It may be as simple as the voltage regulator went bad. Do a search as they are inexpensive and easy to replace.

you need to have the fault code read.
