Can you tell the difference between running 93 oct gas and 100 octane on them,if your car is tuned for 93 octane?

I think you & I have heard that if you only use pump gas you will not get the full benefit from the 20's.

I rarely use pump so I cannot tell if that statement is true.

If you want to go all out then just get the alpha 3076's, but I'm not sure you will get the full potential from those with a non built motor(based on limited PSI & Torque).

Maybe Markski can chime in with his thoughts on a properly set up & tuned 20g car vs the same with Alpha 3076's.

Your car must be REALLY fast. Violently fast.

I just did both a 20g and A3071s on blow thru... both are super strong at 1.2 bar...
the blow thru make a huge difference on the A3071s... It came in that way at 1.2 bar and now is a totally different animal... thus I say big ICs, blow thru with the intake above ICs is way superior over the intake above engine( BTW that car had the hard piping too ).. its a different animal now... but then I spent days fixing all the boost/vacuum leaks as well...

I have the billet wheels.... when i have 100 octane in the car, the car runs the 100 octane file. When 93 is in the car I run the 93 file. I have never run 100 octance on the 93 file, seems like a waste..

The difference between 93 & 100 is night and day! It is very hard to go back to 93 after running 100.

why the mix? why not just run 100 octane? is the 112 leaded or unleaded fuel?

The price difference between the 100 & 112 is a $1 or less a gl. So to save money I get a 5 gl drum of 112 and fill the rest of my tank with 93. Costs less than filling a full tank of 100 and I get close to the same octane or even a bit higher for less $. And yes the 112 is leaded. Smells better too than unleaded

I know you know that the lead is bad of the O2 sensors and cats if you have any..
I love the smell of leaded gas also and the nice grey tint it leaves in the exhaust ends..I run a 50% mix in my Hot Rod Harley also..

Yup but the extra kick in the pants it gives is worth replacing the o2's a little more often although mine still seem to be going good so far after 10 or so tanks. No cats for my turbo cars please. LOL! I'm waiting for you to gut yours John as I want to know what your impression is! Dang it man do eeet!
