Spacers with 19 Champion RG5

I am wondering if I need spacers for my RG5's on the rear . I know it will only bring out the tires some, but what would be my purpose for having them? I assume they help slightly with handling. Also my car is not lowered as of yet. I am thinking of springs only, since I do not track my car. I know overall coilovers is the way to go, but I have to go with what my budget allows.

what's the offset & width of the wheel u have?

Actually, I have no idea of the offsets, since I purchased them from my bosses friend, but they are for a Turbo. The fronts are 8.5" and the rears are 11".

if the wheel is for Turbo u don't need spacer. don't believe what u told though until u see them in person.

Well, here is a crude camera phone pic that I just took getting the front 235 MPS2's on at my work. Guess the reason for the spacer question was that someone in another post had spacers on his car, and was going to a thinner spacer. I know there is tons of wheel gap in the pic, but it looks better when the car is on the ground....
