Ok, I have had 2 experiences happen to me, proving that my K40 works...
1st:
Was going through my development radar starts going off. I was not speeding, so I just keep going...I come around the corner in my development and there is the security guard radaring up ahead(security can give tickets and crap). When I get closer he steps out in front of my car and holds up his hands for me to stop. I do, but wondering why.... He comes up and asks if I have any kind of a jamming device... I replied that I do not (not knowing if I was allowed to). His reply "****, I think my gun just broke, o well go ahead"
The second was not so funny and happened last night:
I was coming home from Miami last night, I am about 2 miles from my development when this kid in an Acura CL Type S comes flying up...me like an idiot started wasting my gas playing with him. I decide I to take off as I wanted to get home because I was tired and I really really had to go to the bathroom. So I do, and next thing I know I see new headlights behind me and my K40 radar starts going crazy from behind. At this point I am down to 70MPH(in a 45), and I downshift turned into my development hoping to get away, but no....get cought up at the gate...after being released from gate cop is now right behind me...I get 10 feet and boom blue lights...my heart started racing I was the most scared I have ever been and just about **** my pants...He walks up and then makes me even more nervous by yelling "Lemme see your license SIR!!", I hand him my license, then I hear over the radio "Plates clean on 2002 Porsche Turbo". He then takes out a little red light, asked me to follow it with my eyes...I do no problem (don't drink or do drugs). He then gives me my license back and says "SLOW DOWN SIR" and leaves...
I am now shaking thinking about how I should be in the back of his car right now(going almost triple speed limit ) ...
I think the K40 saved me here too, because he didn't even ask for registration which he would have if he was planning on issueing a ticket.
Sorry for the long post, but had to get the second one off my chest. It was dumb I know, and I learned my lesson. This was my first time getting pulled over (if you can believe that), I think it was a much needed reality check for me...

I am glad it works, the reason I got the K40 is not because I go 100 mph, but because I sometimes reach 80-85, and cops love to pull over Porsche Turbos However, everytime my V1 detects a laser, my K40 does not. I guess I just have to befriend a cop and try out his laser gun.

 

Nice!! In your first story though...K40 only jamas laser not radar!! there is no such thing as active radar jamming yet (unless you buy an F-117 Stealth fighter or B-2 bomber...)

I had a similiar experience when I was in Ft. LAudedale, my buddy and I rented a YEllow Corvette Convertible and a yellow 996 convertable, not the best color to be low key..comming back from miami and we decide to race like idiots on Federal Highway at 4 am.. Well lets just say they pulled me over in the porsche and he got away... We were not even going that fast its just the sound of accelerating cars....and spinning tires... I got a 350 dollar ticket forget this "reckless driving" and "attempting to Race" Attempting!!!!! well atleast a ticket in florida does not give me points in mass.... The cops are crazy in florida. and is it just me or that on the highway going to miami people haul ***...100+ mph.??? and also I always see tons of people getting rear ended on the highways in florida...it must be the nice weather...people drive crazy

Yep, you hit the description of drivers down here right on the head!!
Everyone drives fast, they don't use turn signals, and most can't drive!!! Then you throw in the old people that do 30MPH and pull out in front of you, as if they don't care...
Its a crazy driving experience down here!!

I love florida...its a good getaway if you live in boston..quick plane ride. My parents have condo down there I love it!!!

There was an active radar jammer and it worked perfectly. The company was forced out of business by the FCC about five years ago. The company's name was Stealth Technology. The unit was called the Stealth VCRD. It is a $75,000. fine if you are caught with one.

 

That's really not an accurate statement...I don't have time to go into detail at the moment though.

I just got a damn ticket on highway 10 in FL on my way back from a horrible wedding in Destin Fla. 100mph $275 and 3 points My K40 false alarmed 400+ times on the way there and back. My friend says is because of radio waves in the area, most likely from the nearby air force base.

My woulda been a lot worse then yours, but thankfully cop was nice for some reason...I am guessing yours is 100 in a 55 or 65, mine would have been probably 110-120 in a 45=jail....god that was stupid of me...

PS-Yes K40 does false a lot, what mode are you in?? I use highway even in city just to be sure...
