New GOPRO 3's
 

We have the new GoPro 3's available for sale now and they have built in WiFi now. There is also a WiFi app available to work on your I-Phone or Android so you do not need to buy the remote for it.

The silver edition has the same great resolution as the GoPro2 and is still being sold at the same price as the old one but it also has built in WiFi.

The black edition is for those GoPro users that enjoy editing footage. It has the built in WiFi but it also has an incredible 4K/15 resolution and it has the ability to record at very high speed so that you can play back at super slo-mo speeds because it has the ability to film at over 240 fps!!!!

Have they done anything about the sound quality (I.E. the distortion and wind noise) that the old units had?

It would be nice to be able to run a wire into the car and have the mic inside the car with the camera outside.

Really? Were the Hero 2's the first HD ones because I remember looking into that at that time the HD ones first came out and was told they could not do it? Regardless that's great news. :)
