Sounds like i need to get plenty more practice in as even a 1.9 60ft would put a big smile on my face & just get me into the high 11's.

So whats the next best step to get a few more bhp out of her without swapping the turbos (for now).
From what I've read before Im guessing that I'm almost at my max bhp before the only option is to do something with the turbos so im thinking that my only options for now are the Gt2 Rs Intercoolers, (or any other brand) Dv's, FPR, Headers. Anything else to gain a few more hp?

Im trying to not slide any further down this slippery slope as i know that the next big slip would be the really expensive one.

Im still trying to convince myself on a PSS10 suspension overhaul which is coming in at £5000 as soon as i pluck up the courage to give the garage the go ahead.

My sensible side keeps telling me that i have more than enough power for the road & my wild side is probably on the fence, but as we all know speed & power are very addictive and it can only be downhill from here

I think your next best power mod short of turbos is a good Hi-Flow intake plenum like our SpeedTech Plenum pictured below. This will let the turbos spool better/quicker and allow them to develop more power. Also, if you ever go to larger turbos, they will be well supported on the intake side...

whats the point of varying the rpm?? with a 2 step an ignition cut is used to produce boost as the rpm bounces, doing it manually wont make any boost with out load.

 

Yes, it is done all the time. The motor must be lowered a few inches...

The ones pictures flow better than the modified OEM style. If you are going to do this mod, IMO you should do it best/right the first time and maximize your cars potential.

 

agree just dont want to do overkill for whats basically a x50 car with tune and exhaust and headers. im building some 4.5 i/c but wont be doing much turbo wise for a while yet. just working with what i have

 

Both do a very good job - go bigger if you are looking for every possible advantage or every fraction of a sec., otherwise the standard upgraded intake is fine and performs well.
