whats the width of the wheel??

awdbiturbo1 Oct 29, 2012 03:24 PM

12.5

How much surgery are you doing to make them fit? 315/30/18 NT01s are about as big as I could fit without rubbing and that is with rolled fenders and -2.0 camber and a 12" CCW wheel with a 44mm offset. R888 is a good track tire but deafening on the street especially once scrubbed in. Bring some earplugs. Lol!

So far not much, Just rolled fenders and heated and molded inner wheel wells/splash guards. There are 4 others here that run this size with little to no issues.

My ccw's are 12.5 ( not sure of the offset, i bought them second hand) inches wide and are flush with the lip of the rim, im sure they could fit an even fit wider tire with that width. The sid wall is very sqaure with nothing bulgding out over the lip.

Not too concerned with the road noise, had something similar on gutted evos and a audi s4. no back seats and removed sound deading material, you hear everything.

thats a pretty aggressive setup, looking forward to seeing the stance when its all said and done...

Nice! I did that with Hoosiers which are smaller. Was always wondering if it would work. Check alignment specs for good grip to your needs and clearance. Those tires run large too!

You are not kidding! Hopefully the OP has two sets of wheels.

Freaking wow...

I wonder if they would work out with GT2 fender liners.

Please post up pics of them mounted sir.

Are they classics or LM20's?

Good luck getting some GT2 fender liners. They have been on backorder from Germany since early summer. Porsche shows them in stock here in the states but when you get them they are 996tt liners with the GT2 part number sticker put on them. The 996tt number is molded into the liner under the sticker. My dealer ordered 5 sets and they all came mismarked like that and Porsche NA can't get it straight.

Can you take and post a picture of the modified liner?

Also John at CCW really knows how to fit a wheel to squeeze in 335's. You just have to do the rest ;)
