Those who have changed your plugs just recently. Have you noticed NGK changed the

Stock number to 6097 from 4644 on the copper BKR7E's, however kept the long number (BKR7E). Are they still the same plug, According to NGK they are....Just making sure.

Yea same plug...i went to the store for 6097 and they said they dont carry them. Went home and looked up the part number and realized it changed. Went back to the store and they had 4644 lol.

its been 4644 for at least 2 years that i know of. thats when i first bought that plug based on Tony's recommendation. it still comes up under that number at advance auto parts.

Alot of times,the plug number is different the pack number..

I use a lot of the BKR7E at my shop and no they have not changed.
