i'd like to see u vs Mike ( KPGs old car). since you actually dont make double the power that he does and he will be in the gopro view longer then 1 second lol

OK so topgun how much power were u putting down at TI? Because the way you walked off from Todd it looked to be about 300whp more than Todd.

I would expect our race to look the same considering the difference of whp between us.

Todd claims his car is 1000+ whp. So lets see how Tweety stacks up.

Well I need to update my sig here soon because of all this stupidity. The car has all the parts built by Boost Logic and they supply a lot. Though we do the work at our garage not our homes. Why work on jack stands when you have 2x two post lifts, a 4 post, parts cleaner (the big steam cleaner), dyno, etc. Now unlike you all I cannot make my own injectors or write my own tunes to stock DME. Plus I can't create a replica of a Motec. You guys got it down over there with the HBK builds.

So I guess Swole Powell and I are GBK crew. But we are apparently just to far behind the curve sadly to EVER do anything impressive :(

Wellllll thats random in this thread

On another note it hasn't been that long since you worked on your car in your garage at home on jack stands and had good results with those builds and were proud of them. Am i wrong?

Yes we did and we will still when we have to. When I did something I never used that as a reason why it worked because it was built at home. Just tired of seeing posts about HBK this and that. Home Built refers to you built EVERYTHING injectors, ECU, etc yourself. If not it was a HOME INSTALLED. Sorry to burst everyones bubble. All the cars are doing work but jesus christ its annoying.

PAULIEWALNUTS Nov 27, 2012 01:16 PM

Holy Crap, Chris is snappy today. Carry on.

We're just a group of car enthusiasts that enjoy modding our cars and racing. Why get so upset about it? Its not a shop, a company, or vendor of any sort. No ones making any money off this. We get together on the weekends, drink some import beers, listen to dubstep, and work on our cars. HBK'ers never sleep! :D

when you worked on your car at home didnt you have some gimmick too that you like to use "none major shop built" or something like that in your sig, i dont recall 100% but i always liked that. HBK is actually more of a JOKE then anything and a play on words. btw when a construction crew builds a new home they dont make their own bricks, gas tanks etc, there is no need to reinvent the wheel (make your own injectors). out of the 3 my car is the only one still tuned by an existing Porsche tuner.

but i guess you are right Chris - we need more threads about 997 key fob swap DIYs, license plate LEDs, LED tail lights and shortage of the 315/25/19 rubberband tires. no one wants to see things built with hands, real street races and 1300whp dynos - RUBBISH.

Powell Nov 27, 2012 01:21 PM

Never did I claim anything about that stuff. I'm glad you hang out and work on the cars. We do the same sometimes until we are about to pass out... Hell depending on how I feel tonight I'm going to go work on Matt's Datsun under carriage cleaning while he is on a honeymoon. I just get tired of people making it seem like everyone is an idiot and they couldn't work on there car themselves. Its EASY and to try to downplay people because they do have a shop work on from time to time is pretty ****ty. We are here to have fun honestly, but sometimes **** gets annoying.

^ how do you rep someone on this dang forum?

Actually I had my numbers but it was called like the Skinny White Dude Racing 666 kit. I know all of it is a joke but I have seen some post coming across to people that they are better because they did their own work.

Hell if you read my 155mph pass I even had Matt take pictures for proof of me on the way home. I was damn proud of the car was capable of the times it did and drive home that same night. Still to this day nobody has touched it. I remember helping Matt as much as I could while he busted his ass to get my car going. We went out night and made history (in my book was made) As I said at the wedding about Matt... He's my brother, my mechanic and also my best friend.
