Painted Interior trim
 

Does anyone have painted trim pieces in their 996TT? I am considering switching my center console and dash horeshoe and some door trim from the leather OEM to painted arctic silver. I saw some of these parts on Ebay for sale. I was just curious with your experiences with chips, scratches or scuffs to the paint? Do you use a certain paint product to touch these up? Let me know your experience and would you install these again, knowing what you now know.

i had mine painted and . no chips or scufs, and looks awesome

Had my horseshoe painted silver and my ashtray painted silver, my body shop just looked at the door handles and matched it up almost exact. Looks great and only charged like $25 or something like that..super cheap mod =)

+2 for bumperplugs. Eric is great to deal with. I have a painted center console from him and no issues with scratches. Glad to see another Michigan member here!
