She's going under the knife tomorrow

She's going in tomorrow for K24/20, IC, 72lbs injectors, 4bar FPR, coolant pipe fix while we are in there and EPL flash tomorrow.
I'll be so stressed that I have to take a week in Maui to calm myself down before I come back and discharge her.

Wish me luck !

Always stressful! Good luck with her. Keep us up to date.

You might want to upgrade the fuel lines from the front of the car to the fuel rail. That will help with fueling and in case you do the pumps later its a lot easier to do now when the motor is out.

Ya you could go -8 lines to the back and then if u need more fuel either 044 bosch or intank 044's in the front. Do your research, the more you can do when the motor is out the more $ you save later :)

good luck!

I have done with engine in. Not a big deal.

Great news. I actually was going to look into doing this myself but heard from someone that it was pretty labor intensive.

Thanks!

This was going to be my question. From what I have read and heard from Tony at EPL he seemed to indicate that the 24/20 was much the same as the 24/18g untill you fill the tank with race fuel, at which time the 24/20 really wakes up.

Curious as to what steered you in the 24/20 direction?

How much whp would you go on a stock block?

24/20's will get you above the 700whp mark.

I have not seen many 3071's or 3076's that go past the 700 whp mark.

Tony Chick @ EPL is predicting ~570 awhp 91oct with this set up. With the current Clutch Master set up I have this should be fine. I want daily drivability at the end of the day.
Not sure if I'll be going beyond this set up. ... Famous last words

i got the turbos used from another member for a phenomenal deal so it was an easy no brainer. These turbos were used for only ~5k miles in its current state before he upgraded so I was the benefactor. Thanks to Sid, I'll smile a little more.

Will add that with the current AR Design exhaust set up, I have the option of going catless with just dropping the cats via the band clamps and inserting the bypass pipes. Very nice design and not requiring a lot of work to do. I would say 30 mins to do both. Wanted to give them a shout out for working with me and other members on this forum on their exhaust setup.

Looking ahead at PSS10 in the near future. May 2-2 months from now.
