Thumbs up Product Alert!---Dont use Meguiar's Foaming Leather Cleaner

My friend Jason used it on his seats and it actually bleached his grey leather seats! A Meguiars rep came to his house and tried to fix it using Lexol and it only made it worse!

Meguiars may end up buying him two new leather seats for his 996!

Heres a pic of the damage!

Sounds like a good chance to upgrade to GT3 seats on their dime.

Wow, how long did he let the product sit on there before starting to rub it in. It must be an aggresive cleaner to take off the dye or paint on the seat !! Thanks for the heads up.

msindi:

That is not problem at all. Hmm, maybe I should go to the strip and see what times I can pull before winter sets in. Dropping it off Friday works even better as I can get started right away Saturday. I will speak to you about it tommorrow or Friday.
