I have a set of 545R's that I want to clean up to sell. They have your usual dirt on them but its kind of gotten baked in while they sat in the garage. They come clean with Mothers Billet Polish and elbow grease but its way too time consuming. Is there a good tool that i can either hook up to a drill or buffer than can get to that surface and into the seam?
Any good liquid or viscous cleaner I should be looking to use?
Looking for some good advice.
Thanks

Here a pic when they were new, if anybody is interested.

Since it is the barrels, your best bet is likely doing it by hand, or taking the wheels apart. Most polishing balls and tools won't be able to squeeze in there well - at least not in my experience.

I have a pair of 547's that I just hated for that same issue.... Elbow grease is the only way. The polished barrels absolutely suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for that problem.

I finally got sick of the issue and took the wheels apart and painted the inside barrel black and I cleared the the outside one. So much better now but the clear will not last forever on the polished section; but still way better.

mothers billet metal polish and a microfiber by hand just on the aluminium though!

just have to be careful to avoid the painted centers..

a better alternative is to have the aluminum clear coated to prevent all this grime that requires polishing.. they can be washed easily when they have clear

I used Mothers or Semichrome polish by hand about 2-3 times a year on similar wheels. If you do it fairy often it will just take a few minutes to do them all.
