Top Speed Pro1 Headers??
I have a cracked header (driver side) and was thinking about buying these whats everyones take on them? anyone run these?
I have k16 billets and ebwerks exhaust

headers take a LOT of heat in our cars, not sure I'd go with the ebay specials. It's just a matter of heat cycles before those crack IMO. Go with OEM or a more reputable company.

Those ebay ones are junk, made from cheap 299 stainless (they lie about 304) and with very poor quality. They are polished however which looks nice (who cares)...
My buddy does a lot of off shore stuff in China and deals with factories that make stuff like that. China will make an item at any price point you want, quality also follows. Stuff made in china can be VERY good quality, as good as here lets face it, but if you want it cheap they skimp and using poor materials and process to speed up production is how they do it. 299 stainless is always used in place of more expensive 304, and is the de facto first step to reducing cost in an exhaust item. Thin low quality stainless steel fails quickly especially on a turbo car that has a lot of exhaust heat before the turbos.
hose headers would likely last a year. At that cost you could replace them yearly though.

not a 1000$ but these have been on my car since 2009 and not a single repair can be seen. other than some blueing they look as good as new!
