Buying front tires this week. Should I do 265/35/18 fronts on my 18x9.5's or 255

I am rwd and lowered on Bilstien PSS9, curent ride height 25 7/8ths rear 25 3/8ths. I have 335/30/18 Toyo r888's in the back and want to do a set of r888's in the front. Will 265 be too much? Tia --Rob

Whichever of the two is a better match, in terms of Revs/mile.

the 335 is 799, the 265/35 is 817.

I run 265/35-18 PS2s on a 9" rim, moton lowered to GT2 height, no rolled fenders.

Do you have any pics of your set up? I am running a 18x9.5 ccw classic in the front. I am also rwd, so the whole matching the revs shouldn't apply...right?

No pics.

RWD you dont care about sizes. Either will work, of course it depends on the offset of your wheels. I dont know what mine are off hand...sry

You will like the Toyo 255's/315's. They run big like some clothes. Little fender roll and you should be cool.

I run a 265/30/19 nitto invo, I'm lowered to 25.5 inches in the front and it doesn't rub anywhere. Also it feels like it understeers less.

Nice fit!

AWD: Did you end up running w/the 255s up front?

DNugget991GT3 Jan 18, 2014 08:22 PM

you are going to rub.

Yes I got the 255's. I really think I could have fit the 265's if I use a ten mm spacer.

W/the 255s, would you be fine w/o a spacer?
