Is trying to obtain a Porsche 996 Turbo a shallow goal?
Not sure what you are implying here. If obtaining something like a P-car will be much harder to do in a few years, as opposed to now-- whether it's due to the car market and/or the economy, I still want a Porsche and if I can't get a TT, I will likely get a 2005 C6 Corvette (which i have seen for 18 grand) or a Carrera 2 series 911 from 2000.
If so how do us Porsche Turbo owners compare with their comments...LOL..

Having seen your other threads posts on other forums lol seriously just stop
No it is not a shallow goal. A lot of Porsche owners have saved and saved to finally get one.
"fancy watches, boats, mansions, large houses, or anything that goes with owning a 911" none of these "goes with" owning a Porsche, what goes with owning a Porsche is the love for the history and the car. I know pleanty of Porsche owners who are average people who worked hard to get one.

Do you hold more or less respect for these people who are ''average'', as you have stated, after they have bought their Porsche (instead of saving that money or investing it, or getting a cheaper vehicle)?
Others will say,"Purchase a car after you have ~6 months of income."
Others might say,"Damn the economy! You only live once. Get the Porsche now, if you run into financial difficulties, you can start your own recovery plan by selling the car. Enjoy it while you can."
Chalk it up as entertainment.
I don't respect people based on what material things they have or how much money they have. And you can't assume because someone has a Porsche they don't have savings, 401K, or investments.
On fact remove the word "Porsche" and put in Mustang, Challanger, Corvette, Expidition.......see what I'm saying?

Really,,, I don't believe that anyone that is a true Porsche addict really cares about how they got or how others got their car..
MAYBE the snobby possers, show offs or a## holes might look at it that way..
