Below are my wheel specs.

Front 19x8.5" +48mm offset with a 245/35R19
Rear 19x11.0" +40mm offset with a 295/30R19

Here are some pics of 235/35/19 on 19x9 and 305/30/19 on 19x12 wheels. Tires are Porsche N1 spec Bridgestone RE050A. The Bridgstone 305s run about half inch wider than comparable 305 PSS or PS2s. The 305 Michelins will look a little more stretched. I am running camber shims on my front LCAs giving an effective offset of ET39 in the front and in the rear I have ET44.

I assume you're rwd with the front/rear diameter difference?

So for AWD I need to go 235/40 to keep the front to rear ratio lower (assuming I do the PSS 305/30)?

Yes, but keep in mind that it may rub at sharp steering angles (like in a parking lot).

That's the catch. You need the same front to rear tire diameters, ideally you want the fronts a touch larger than the rear to get static torque transfer to the front. However, the 305/30/19 is right at 26.3" but there is no way to fit a 26.3" front tire without rubbing unless you relocate the front radiators. The best solution is to dump the FWD and spend $3k on a good LSD.

This is why I went with a 295/30R19 instead of a 305/30R19. It allowed me to run a 245/35R19 on the front. Not perfect, but functional.

Steve - but you can run the 295 rear b/c you have an 11" rear correct? Not 12"?

I have never rubbed in the front with 235/40/19's either on stock springs or lowered an inch.

Correct, your 12" wheel would be inappropriate for a 295.
