Does removing rear parking sensors cause malfunction?

I did a search and couldn't come up with anything. Hopefully someone can chime in. I'm going for the euro rear bumper conversion and my car came with parking sensors. If someone can tell me exactly where that parking sensor speaker is on the dashboard, that would be great too.
