Slider posted a fiberglass DIY not to long ago, like in the last month.

What would be even better is getting a new style LED light made for lets say $600 a set

I think you've been misinformed Larry. The plastic tabs are part of the taillight housing and are not sold separately. There is a bracket that is sold but it is a bracket that the lights attach to.

Thank you all for your input! I'll try to find F1's post. In the meantime, I guess I'll have to keep an eye on them. One is almost completely cracked away as you can see!

i've seen it..search in here "headlamp tabs diy"? i dunno. it's a "regular here that did it. it's just like adding some material to the flange bits basically. either way, its beyond the scope of what i can do myself. which is most anything, unfortunately.

Must have been the bracket that broke on mine because the new bracket fixed my problem. I guess I didn't really look closely at the OP's pictures. Sorry.

Since the taillights sit flush on the chassis, it would appear that this fix would raise the height of the lights slightly.

Just curious,
Steve
