Group Buy on NEW-STYLE MAF's for Twin Turbos/GT2s
Heya guys, I spoke to the supplier and if you guys want I can get them pretty cheap for $249 each for this group buy. These are the NEW style MAFs as used in the Boxsters from 05 and up... I've used this one and found it to be more durable than the older ones. Even if you don't have a modified car these things tend to go so let me know either via Email to alex@sharkwerks.com or PM or just repond....
No limits on these as yet! |
The MAF is only part of the problem. Can u throw a set of FR6 plugs in there also? ;)

$5 per plug;)

How have these been tested and proven? Visually, how do they differ in design/construction? Is it plug/play? I'm definitely interested...

Hi Stephen I'm doing a swap and yes it is plug and play. I've been using one since Jan of this year. A lot of the 04 05TT's come with this MAF.

is this similar to that thing with Imagine Auto Boxster MAFs?
|
Has the new MAF been tried/datalogged on a stock unflashed 996TT?

Works fine on stock cars.. After talking to Stephen and Todd though for anyone below a Stage IV aka 700, 750 they feel we should stick to the original ones. I know the dealer has a software update for the new-style one...

I found a TSB on re-flashing early Boxters when the late Boxter MAF is installed. Is a dealer reflash of a stock 996tt available or necessary?

IM INTERESTED TOO..

It is actually the lower end kits and stock that are not crossing over well. The upper kits have been ok..so far.
