CA smog and exhausts

I know a few people have been asking lately about smogging in California with aftermarket exhausts.

I just successfully passed smog in California with a Speedtech 2.5 Quiet exhaust.

The tech did poke around in the engine compartment looking around. My engine was all stock so this wasn't an issue.

I was very high on HC at idle though during the test.
Under load HC levels were fine.

Thankfully I have two years to look into this issue.
