Finely 911tuning got my car running well !
Hi all , here is my long story , 9 month long actually .
I bought my 911 9 month ago , two weeks later the transmission broke , so it took me a while to get it fixed , because I did the labor myself
after that and if to be honest even before that the car wasn't running right , jumpy rpm ,CEL , engine was smoking bad , and even go off at the stop lights , that how we get to the winter , I wasn't driving the car at all , but as soon as season was getting closer I post here on 6speed where to fix the car , money to performance my best choice fell on Markski 911 tuning , we talk on the phone all together probably 3–4 hours , I explained him everything , I took the 911 to the dealer ,
change the FPR , check the car for the boost leaks etc , after couple days we flashed the car with 911tuning software , what surprised me is the fact we got the car running correctly 100% (low boost , low timing ) , no smoke , no jumpy rpm , no CEL first time since I had the car it was running right
I test the car using Race logik , my best before current tune was
basicly 62–124mph in 7.7 seconds which is slow for 18g car
3rd version of the software from 911tuning bring me to
0.7 seconds in that range of speed sounds good to me !
or BTW I used flasher which is give the option to switch in between the tunes pump / race etc , takes 2 minutes , I liked that .
4th version from today
we shaved almost 1 second in 62–124 mph range and it's a lot .
and the good news we haven't done yet , the boost is 1.2 , timing can be still increased I hope for best , but the point is now I can really enjoy the 911 turbo and I wanted to share my experience and tell thank you to all who helped me with advices in my posts , and huge thanks to Markski for his time and great work !!!
ps sorry for my poor english
