2005 - 996 Turbo S - 30,000 miles Purchase Price Value ?

What value would one pay up to for an immaculate 6MT - 2005 Turbo S (996) with only 30,000 miles ?

Thx for any responses

I just paid over $60k for a 2005 Turbo S with only 17k miles on it. Car was essentially brand new as the previous owner had taken extremely good care of it. Never driven in the rain. It is hard to tell that the car has 17k miles.....it looks inside and outside as if it is brand new.
Mark

PS The car has Cross JIC coilovers on it and RacePrecision exhaust. Probably representing about a $6k investment. I was able to obtain the original suspension and exhaust so I can switch back if want to.

I miss my Turbo S. I would actually be willing to pay a little more if the car was clean, garage kept ect

I just did the deal at $60,000... likewise the car was garage kept in the Hamptons, only driven around Shelter Island in summer, has an EVOMS intake, diverters and stage 1 tune.... the seats look like they have never been sat in... Saw some deals on ebay for high $70k's and worse condition 2004 Turbo for near the same price....

Bought it from this place which has 50 year old cars that look NEW

Low mile 2005 models are getting harder to find.. If you like it and it checks out , I wouldn't haggle over a few thousand dollars for that type car..
They are still a bargain auto, even if you pay average retail from blue book, as compared to what they originally went for and what the 997s are going for..
Good Luck

We agreed a price, now just waiting on invoice/paperwork... dealer did not own the car so he had to go back to his client who he was selling for, a few times

I agree though it is a good car at a good price

No point just a benchmark on what to spend. Real simple accounting info to those who can understand. And that was and is the point and nothing more than that.

It's hard to tell if $40k for his 996TT is apples/apples.

It appears that he might be referring to his 2003 996. So that is a different year than is the topic of this post.

The other thing we don't know is when that purchase was made. Which might help rationalize the comparison.

In any case, $40k seems like a good price.

I checked the recent sales and all the car sales sites... $60k for an immaculate 2005, 996 Turbo S is excellent.. some sold as high as $79500..... worse nick sold in low 50k's, autos seem to go for less than 6MT

Range of offers is $52k - $80k+ for mileage from 75,000 miles down to 4300

On valuation sites - excellent nick 2005 Turbo S is around $75,000 for 25k miles

Take $6000 off per 25k miles seems to be the formula

You got your car CHEAP just as I suspect 996 TT have bottomed in the market, especially Turbo S 6MT and other X50 Turbos
