A friend of mine showed me a video of a race between a VERY quick Silver 996TT with a Blue Z06 and a blower kit that makes 630rwhp told me he. Said the guy was from San Jose!?!? Chad your car is ungodly quick! When was this from???

I don't know what/when this was his? But the guy said it was a silver 996TT with some Fikse wheels and I don't know anybody other than him that could have taken it out like that... I wonder if it was on a 3.6L or 4L or??! Nitrous?

wow VERY fast 996tt. 630rwhp vette is seriously quick in itself, and the 996 just blew it away. side note - if i'm not mistaken those look like brax amps in the back, so whoever has the 996tt is running some serious equipment =) and the setup looks nearly identical to the one on the silver 996tt on the sound innovations website.

That may be the S-Car-Go's silver 996tt. I remember he had all kinds of stereo equipment in it at the shoot out!

chad has a Reus system. Definately not Chad's car, you can tell by the lack of his roll cage :)

why does it say 77 Porsche

Yeah thats what I was about to ask, but maybe it is just the font and its TT Porsche. The race started and the vette was probably like YAY, 2sec's later the smile on his face was wiped off pretty quick haha.

Fast Porsche, but the vette definately layed off shortly after the start. Anyone who has done any racing knows that even a car with twice the ppwer of the other would not be able to pull so far ahead in 5 seconds. I would like to hear the Vette driver's side of the story, but he definately backed off.

We'll have to wait for Chad to chime in?

Am i understanding this correctly that the Corvette is putting down 630rwhp or was that the 996TT? After seeing that video it doesn't even look like a race! I see the vette pulled in the begining but after that it looks like he just shut down? Not even a race! 996TT oblitirated the vette.

At the bottom in WMP, it says author "Chris Chow". Check out this DYNO PULL of Chris Chow's car. Not sure if it's the same guy, but it might explain the horse power.
