As I was posting earlier, I went ahead and pulled trigger on "questionable" 996 TT, from someone who had no business owning it, even for the last 6 months that he did.
Long story short, I am in need of advice and perhaps some stock parts.
My rims are iForged 19", painted over with black enamel. Fronts are 8.5", maybe 9, rears are insane 13" wide. So first order of business is finding good 8"/11" wide rims to shove them wheels under rear quarters.
Suspension is H&R adjustable coilovers with adjustable upper control arms, these need to go, because my **** is not made of steel.
I am intending to keep the GT2 wing, since it goes up and down fine and no longer produces any errors.
Other then that she is a real peach and I think we will make good friends.

If you don't know the size of the front wheel, how do you know the size of the rear? I don't think 13" fit... (ps, you can't measure with a tape measure )

Check inside the wheels, they will be stamped with the size on the spokes or hub. That will confirm the sizing. My bet is they are 8.5 & 11.5 with a strong offset (offset should be there too, it will be ET42 or something posted on each wheel. )

I took rear wheel off and measured width from lit to lip with measuring tape.
Front seems to fit in the wheel well, so I am assuming it is around 8-9".
Rear tires are 315/25ZR19 and lips are sticking out. In any case, I dislike extra wide and black rims, regardless how nice of a brand those might be.
Will check sizing and update.

Keep in mind that the width of a wheel is actually measured from bead seat to bead seat, not outside lip to outside lip.

Typical outside measurement is 1"-1.5" more than actual wheel width spec.

Later, Steve
