Trust Costco 91 octane in 996tt?
I try to always use Chevron in my daily car, but have been using Costco for my truck. They claim to be "better" fuel similar to Chevron but curious on where to fill this beast up at? She's on E.

I ran 89 for years when we lived in Iowa. The computer will adjust.
We fill all our cars at Costco. |
Of course Costco is not a refinery, so they purchase their gas from some "local" source. Don't know who that is, but likely the "local" source delivers to a number of gas stations. The only differences in name brands AFAIK is additives.

every time and i mean every time i run the off brand of fuel ( 91 ) my car runs like sh*t. but then, i don't give it time to adjust lol

Who carries 93? I don't recall seeing that high of octane recently. I always use premium in my little Infiniti but think all I see and get is 91.

I don't ever recall seeing 93 down here? You can get 100 octane in a few places but that's obviously way overkill unless you have a tune for it.
thankfully it's gone now  as i was occasionally adding a few gals of 100 @8.99 per gal at fillup, bringing it much nearer to a proper 93 octane. as to how it runs with it added? again, it's instantly noticeable :) |

i don't think we've had 93 in socal for years! but i have to disagree about the 100. until just recently, my local 76 had the vp fuel 100 pump and if that didn't wake both and your car up, something was very wrong lol

I've never tried 100 octane and would like to give it a go. On Irving Park ,one block west of York, on the North side... Its a Gas City I believe.. You should have some place up north by you also. Look up on internet,,Race Gas Locator or Find Race Gas for a list of stations.. |
AZ Costco gas is fine in my experience. Just stay away from ghetto or middle of nowhere stations where probably nobody has been pumping premium in weeks.
