I think those round pipes just look wrong mated with the stock bumper.

Sam Lin is infamous around these partsSam Lin is infamous around these parts
Check dimensions, but I don't think their polygonal shape will fit into the 6tt bumper cutout.

It looks like they would fit if you flipped them upside-down.

Another vote for the X50 tips here.

My 2004 came with X50 tips as an option and when I added a Speedtech X-pipe earlier this year I decided to order a new set of X50 tips.

I think the X50 tips do a great job of filling out the bumper opening with just enough exotic look and size to convey the power that lurks beneath...

It is common to describe the style of tip that came with the X50 power package as an X50 tip, whether the car is in fact an X50 or not.

If you want to be precise, this is what my build sheet says for my 2004 Turbo (non-X50) with X50-style tips:

OPTION X54 Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes 765.00

i'm here to learn. thanks. like i said they came on my other car but were on the build sheet separately as x51 but maybe they said x54.hmm... the distinction simply means i have too much time on my hands. again thx.

thinkin' you're right now. my bad. coulda been this combo.. for some reason i'm thinking the x71 pkg was the alum interior trim too. Option package incl. X54 X70 X71. they say memory is the first to go....( "x51" powerkit for carerra lol ).. dont need that..whatever
