Best places to find cars?
I've done this before, trying to find a nice 996 Turbo, well-optioned, and reasonably priced...and it always seems like it takes me forever! Where else, besides the places below, are good places to watch?
6speed rennlist ebay autotrader cars.com pelicanparts Thanks for the pointers! Shawn |

Other then word of mouth that about covers the bigger venues.

Check your monthly PCA magazine classifieds.
|
Autotrader is the best IMO... it shows everything, even those private sellers.
|
You can also try the PCNA website.

Excellence Magazine has classifieds online too. I found mine on autotrader. The local PCA newsletters have some pop up too. Opening up the pdf's for different chapters hoping to find a 996TT does get tedious though.

Install the carsoup ap. got many leads that way, and cars dot com, eBay. PM me if you want a copy of my database of over 80 turbo ask prices. How I found a sweet deal!

Word to the wise buy a good car with decent miles and records= stock if possible unless it has desirable to you mods done by reputable installer. Do some reading here about the discount purchases and the money spent afterwards.

I've had some success by using google and clicking on the links provided. "Used 996 turbo for sale".
I also like to set up alerts from autotrader so you're notified daily of newly listed cars. Good luck! |

try autotempest
I have used autotempest as a search engine. It searches ebay, craigs list, cars.som, autotrader and others. I found mine that way.
At the risk of hijacking, I am selling mine on rennlist. Have not had much action so I may go to some of the other alternatives. If you are looking for a fully documented 04 turbo cab, tip with 42000 miles , check it out on rennlist. |

Good advice. I've been using http://www.carwham.com, less clutter and loads faster on my machine.
