Welcome! And is that Murray judging your car? Congrats on the awards and we'll probably run into you through the PCA. Enjoy!

I m surprised the previous owner did not fix the leaking hydraulics if they were leaking when he bought it. I sold him the car with 19 K miles and it was still under the factory porsche warranty. They would have fixed it at no charge.
They were fine when I sold him the car back in 2008

I went back and re-read the e-mail the PO sent me, it appears I miss-read the email before. He said the hydraulic spoiler had a leak and he replaced it with the fixed height kit, not that it was leaking when he bought it which is what I thought. Must have been out of warranty by the time the leak started. I think the Carfax report said something about the spoiler being serviced at the dealer, do you recall having it replaced when you owned it?

Anywho, I am thinking about repairing the hydraulic system for the spring after seeing the old photos you posted on Rennlist

Yes, The dealer replaced the entire unit while I owned it.
It worked fine, but I would get the light inside the car every so often.
The only things I did not have on the car when I owned it were the current wheels and exhaust.
