Problem with Oil Level indicator,Please help

Hello,

I have a problem in 996 Turbo with oil level sensor ,

I have message on cluster "Oil level indicator failure"

We replaced oil level sensor and oil pressure sensor and still nothing.

Any advice where could be a problem?

I have the message "Oil level indicator failure" just after oil warmed up

Thanks for advice

Could be a wiring issue

It could be your gauge cluster computer is fried I once had the unfortunate situation of having my battery installed backwards and it fried my ability to check the oil level, North Hollywood Tach replaced my gauge cluster computer for $750. But always check the wiring to your sensors as well they could be corroded.

Running into this same problem on a 2002 turbo. Once engine at operating temp oil level failure pops up. DId you have any success with the cluster? I have replace the level and temp sensor for the oil. Oil changed. The pressure sensor is working so I am holding off on replacing it.

I had this problem on a '02. replaced sender first and it didn't solve the problem. Wiring issue is highly unlikely. Failure turned out to be inside gauge cluster. Good luck.
