ebay...short ad with very few details.

Contacted owner, found the owner previous to that here, talked to him.

Checked the (then current owner's refs) including a guy that had driven the car for 3 hours but didn't buy (with whom I am still friends)

 

Craigslist. The guy was in a different city. He sent me pics as requested and brought the car to me for delivery - straight to the dealer for PPI while we had lunch. PPI was OK so we completed the purchase.

 

Cars.com but the sellers also advertised it in other locations…

 

At Auto Advantage.
Traded a 2007 low mileage Lincoln Town Car and cash.

 

I found mine on Cars.com, but also scoured Edmunds, autotrader and ebay for about 6 months before I found the one I wanted.

ebay...I was in the market, and one of the cleanest examples in my budget was practically next door to where I work. Private sale, I went over there and we made a deal outside of ebay.

 

Found on Autotrader, out of state search. Negotiated approximate price on phone, flew 600 miles to see and PPI, purchased same day at reduced price based on PPI results.

Craigslist - got lucky and saw a dealer ad 2 minutes after he posted, called and made arrangements to see it, scheduled a PPI, sealed the deal.

I've also found them on cars.com and autotrader.com before.

A guy posted that he was thinking about selling his car, so I sent him a PM. We worked out a deal and the car was never listed for sale publicly.

Autotrader had the car listed and so far have been happy with purchase.

 

put in tt and my car popped up. Was in Jersey at a MB dealer, who had no clue what this car was really worth. 27K miles X50 car perfect condition. Stole it is what PCNA said to me.
