Where Can I Buy 315/30-18 Street Tires?
Keep us updated on the R888's
I personally have zero care about ride or noise, solely reliability and a reasonable grip-wear ratio.
The Yokohama only lasted me 6000km's before cording, the Falken's went ~20,000km and have better grip overall IMO, except when below 5*C temps...zero change to suspension.
Pretty sure Rival's are my next tires, but the RT615K's are the back-up...
Cheers,
Rob

I've only had them a few months and I'm not driving that far each day so overall mileage is low so far. I figure they'll last me 12-18 months depending on how much I can drive the car. I got about 13000 miles on the Falkens (rear tire), which is very good in my opinion. I assume maybe 7000 on the Toyos. Another advantage I see of the Toyos is the ride is also much more smooth over bumps and gaps in the road. The Falkens were hard as a rock in all temps.
I've read mixed reviews on the Toyos so hopefully I got a good batch and they'll make it till their bald. If they crap out then I'll probably try the BFG Rival.
I used to run the Michelins on a Corvette Z06 and loved them, but the cost is just crazy and they're always out of stock when you need them.

it's either those or i'm going with pirelli p zeros asyms at 400 a pop. NOT gonna go for my umpteenth ps2 rear set(s). just sick of 500+ per and 4k miles

no bfg rivals to be found nationally.
Wonder if BFG is revising their Rival construction technique, after hearing the cracking/delam. issues...will see if they have new stock in time for Spring.
I might be doing the Falkens, they way outlasted my last Yoko's and felt way better/stiffer, unfortunately Tire Rack(my normal supplier, have an account) doesn't carry them

ya i think they are 60/90 days out the bf's..
but it gets worse. the older falken615 as tested by car n driver had the older 615's coming in at 7th place ( you know how those tire tests are ugh ) with the hankook v12's coming in at 2nd place!? v12's in 2nd place. i'd rather drive on wagon wheels.
i'm hoping the newer 615K is much improved. a falken tester at willow narrowed a full second of his time VS the older 615's. a full second off, is no joke. i have to remind myself my car is different now that I'm rwd and not to sweat ONE rear set of an experimental tire choice. easier said....
price check aisle 4: fallen 615k are 400 a pop as are pirelli's. no way i'm gonna pass on an n rated tire for the same price

This weekend I will be going to the track for the first time on the BFG g-Force Rivals, and will keep a close eye on them after each session.
NT-01s still not available yet.
Saving what I have left on the 2 used sets for the high speed tracks.

I do NOT RECOMMEND them in mud, ice, ultra wet but they seem fine in the really cold despite what we here about r compounds in sub zero temps... If I need to go out in under 32F I just put 2 heaters pointed at the front/back for ten mins then pretend I am an F1 driver swerving all over the place for the 1st lap
On a normal 35F day (clear) they gripped like hell.. awesome and they hold each gear on my tuned car even in this frigid cold.... zero slippage
They have not cracked yet and I have peeled off some low 6.40 secs 60-130 mph in 30F temps... thrashed my car around the back roads here... and had to go on a quick emergency in 22F icy temps
They are fine to date
I have 235/40/18 and 315/30/18 RWD about 740 bhp

R888. I am currently running R888s, great grip, but def loud.
No new news AFAIK, http://www.tyrepress.com/2015/01/toy...ck-tyre-in-uk/
Had bad luck with Toyo's tread caps falling off the carcass...scary. Maybe they have figured it out by now.
