Power steering return line

Can't find the part number. It's the piece that plugs into t1 on the top of the reservoir and then has one of those brass fittings similar to the clutch hard line fitting.

All in the piece is about 14 in long.

I goobered the end of it a bit and it's one of the push lock fittings so I figured replacing it was best.

What say you guys? Is it something a hydraulic shop could fix? Anyone parting out a car or have the part number? Thanks'

I think what you need is 99634744153

Just in case, this should be the part number for the longer push in hose, 99634743950

FWIW, there are two small o-rings inside of the power steering res connectors for these hoses. If you damaged either one removing the hose they WILL leak.

If you have a small pick, mirror, and flashlight you can fish them out and inspect them.

Pretty sure the inner o-ring is a green material to be resistant to Pentosin, with the outer one being a standard black rubber. The o-rings are different sizes so don't mix them up if you pull them out to inspect.

I peered in there with a flashlight and the orings look fine. It's just the end of the nipple is coated with type type of plastic coating and I put a scratch in it.

The hose should be around $100. I replaced mine 3 years ago. I'll try to look up the number later today. I think PET has them mixed up.

Sorry...I may have mixed them up. I can go back to the diagrams if you need.

Just out of curiosity, does the longer one attach somewhere you can change with the motor/trans still in the car?

Apparently the cab line is one long piece from front to back.

The coupe has a break in the line and is the shorter cheaper piece.

It plugs into the reservoir and then has s threaded brass fitting right under the deck lid.

I ordered one yesterday so we lll see. I'm not positive mine is "bad". Just don't want to put it all back together and chance taking it apart again.
