I've replaced the entire audio system in the car and will be placing a car PC into the DBL-DIN location that has steering wheel control capabilities.

Currently I have a Pioneer App Radio 3 but hate the fact that I can't really program it myself. Being a programmer/script-kiddie, I've written my own modular audio catalog/control/rating/web-enabled system. All the existing audio programs (WMPlayer, etc) suck when it comes to HUGE libraries of files (10K+). Mine can catalog out a request in under a second or less; using autoitscript for the interface and SQLite for the backend. Additionally, I can have the unit act as a data backup so when I start the car at home, it will connect to my WiFi and download all new music files off the house NAS as well as any additional files I want out of the house in case the house burns down, NAS dies, etc. to the SSD drive in the unit.

Anywho...the icing on this cake.

This now leads me to find a wheel with the standard bluetooth and audio controls on it to replace the OE wheel. Extra bonus if I can keep the stock airbag.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

The later 997 wheels maybe? Are you tapping into the CAN bus for this? I wouldn't mind finding something myself but I'd be a ring to integrate with an Alpine HU
