GT2 to Turbo wheel question

Do the stock GT2 wheels bolt straight onto a 996 Turbo or do they need spacers either front, rear or both? Trying to see what fits.

I had inner fender well clearance issues when I put GT2 size wheels and tires on my car. GT2 rear fender liner brackets solved that - they just pull on the liners more giving more space.

Took delivery of a GT2 a few weeks ago. Posted a WTB ad on Craigslist and got one that suits my needs. I have a set of extra wheels for my turbo that are GT2 sizes but require a 7mm spacer in the rear. Wasn't sure if I needed the spacer to make the wheels work on the GT2.

I need to check the offsets on the wheels but I will check later. Picked up a 2003 GT2, around 43.5k miles, Seal Grey, bone stock, PCCB's that were upgraded to the 2004-05 rotors. Car is in beautiful shape. Will snap pics but now that I have 3 of these bad boys this guy is stored away from my house.

Do you have the part numbers for the brackets?

About an Hour or so. It will be easier to remove the rear tires. Simply unbolt the old bracket then bolt on the new one in its place and then drill a new hole in the fender liner to attach to the new bracket.

See Post #6 in this thread https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...eet-build.html
