Hood won't close, any ideas?


The pull cable is in the resting position so its not that.

Does the latch work properly, can you get it to latch-unlatch with lid up? I know that doesn't really make sense but best I can describe question lol.

I wound up throwing some wd40 on it and let it sit and now it works, kind of weird.....

Not really probably was just sticking a little= happy its working!

Still doing the same issue, annoying..........

Clean it the best you can and re-lube, may be dirty gummed up.

Soak it with wd40. Take long flat head screw driver and play with manual release line. Make sure its all the way out. It will show some play. Your hood not closing because manual release is stuck open.

They do go bad. I have seen it before at SG
