My Esprit vs Gallardo
Had the chance to line up with a buddies black E-gear today. His car is COMPLETELY bone stock 04. We raced twice. First time we went approx 30mph to 130mph. Awesome race, at the end, his gallardo front bumper was at my door. Very very close. 2nd race we went first gear roll, about 10mph to 130mph and he had me the whole way until right at the end was when you could see i was started to pull up, but never was i able to come from behind. I thought for sure i was gonna win by more than that.

When my car made 359rwhp, and 330ft lbs of torque, i raced a Z28 trapping 118mph and beat that by 1 car. Now my car made 370 rwhp, and more importantly 370Ft lbs of torque, in a car that has weighed in 2836 lbs.

Must be due to the gearing.

Just playing around, Allen. I have no doubt the Gallardo is a very fast car.

 

Well lets see, Auto Zeitung i believe tested the 04 Gallardo at 0-200 kmh in 12.8 sec. The new g, with 20 more hp, and short gearing is definitely going to be slower!
sport Auto and Auto Zeting also tested the 04 G at 8.4 and 8.5 sec to 100mph.
