Kudos to Sean at Silly Rabbit Motorsport

Hi All -

Being local to Las Vegas where SRM is located, I reached out to Sean to inquire about his intercooler kit for these horrible hot summers, as well as his recent (and beautiful) fueling solution for in-tank pump setups. Sean ran me through all of the options and needs for my current mods (Alpha 28s and all supporting) and also discussed some tuning options he can offer.

After reviewing, we decided upon some SRM 4.5" intercoolers, 1200cc Bosch injectors, dual in-tank fuel pump setup, and also an e85 tune! :D:D

After dropping the car off and getting to see his 1xxx whp 996 beast as well as all of the nice cnc machines he has in action making 997 fuel baskets (with another machine on the way evidently), I parted ways to let him work his magic.

When I picked the car up, I was excited to drive her, but also scared to push her in the 110 degree weather. Sean told me to let her rip and see what the magic of e85 and the intercoolers would bring. Suffice to say, he was right. I definitely had a smile on my face. He was unable to dyno the car on his in-house dynocom, as he wasn't comfortable allowing the car to dyno with the in-shop temps and lack of flow the car would see, so I will have to make a trip back once the weather cools in October.

Either way, just wanted to throw a post to recognize him for the great work personally, as well as the community. Glad to see we have another player on the scene that is also an enthusiast, AND makes his parts in-house. Definitely something to be said for that dedication.

Thanks again Sean.

Nice review and I agree on the fuel kits. I have a stage 1 that I haven't installed yet. Any updates on how she is driving currently?

Hopefully Sean brings out other products for the community.

Car is great. Drive her at least once a week, and the idle and performance is superior to what it was prior.

Weather is still far too hot, but the times I've pushed her, she responds perfectly fine. Can't wait to fine tune and open up once weather is a bit more in our favor.

Can't wait to get my SRM fuel rails!! Eventually when the budget allows i'll migrate all of my in-tank fuel parts over to SRM brand! :D

What else can we think of Sean to machine for the 996turbs???!!!

1. An adapter for the stock turbo oil sumps to mate to standard garrett turbo oil returns or the whole damn thing that takes AN fittings.

2. Some kind of inline -6AN flex fuel adapter

Hmmm....what else...I'll keep thinking. ;)

A giant 996TT Belt buckle WOULD compliment the cowboy boots.

Thinking something like this...but w/ 996turbs and more badazz. :D

Thanks again Sean.

I'm glad you are enjoying the car. As always it's a pleasure doing remote tuning with Sean@SRM :)
