I'll play…supposedly the last pair of leather pole positions to leave Germany before the FIA recall. If true I guess it's an interesting novelty. FIA is a non issue as it does not get tracked. I love em, wish I had a set just like them in my black M3…sigh…it's only money

Not a great picture! But I have these Recaro CS going into my cobra build. great seats.

 

I swapped out the factory seats for the recaro sportser CS' and I couldn't be happier. I had my interior guy redo them entirely in alcantara and added a little something extra to em as well. This is the best pic I have for now, but I'll see if I can't get a better one soon.

Mine are not in the car yet. I am not going to say how much I paid, but I will say it was considerably less than the lowest figure posted in this thread. For both. Sorry. I have to gloat just a little. Very happy to have snagged this deal.

 

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm looking for some opinions from some members with actual experience in these seats. I'm debating between going with Recaro Sportsters or Cobra Misano 30th anniversary. I haven't been able to find anywhere relatively near me that retails either, so I've yet to see either in person. I'm essentially looking for something to keep me in place better than my stock sport seats, as well as update/improve the interior aesthetically. My concern with the Cobras is that the will look too bulky and thick, although that CF back does look incredible. On the other hand, the Sporters don't appear to be that aggressive, although most people that have them seem to love them.

Or maybe I should just bite the bullet and pay the price of a used Honda Civic for some GT2's, haha.
