have you guys seen this 991 bumper for the 996?
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...7552630&type=1?
I have been looking for all bumper options that have daytime running lights for my 02 turbo but the only ones I can find are cheap eBay fiberglass ones. I would not be opposed to buying a bumper off eBay had I found good feedback in my research. Everybody seems to suggest sticking with urethane and it seems there are only urethane options for 99-01's. So us 996 turbo owners aren't left with many options. My favorite bumper would be a 997 gt2 bumper for our cars but at this point I am just looking at all possible options even ones without daytime running lights. The 996 gt2 bumper is my "go to" as a last resort. What do you guys think of the above bumper? The seller said this it's urethane and only $1000usd, I would definitely buy it but I'm scared after shipping it will end up being at least 3 times as much. Any thoughts or suggestions including other bumpers would be greatly appreciated. Also I would like to note that I am NOT interested in doing a full 997 or 991 conversion even though I know most people on the board are opposed to this anyways. I would just like to replace the stock turbo bumper. Thanks in advance!

I like the look but wish they had shown it with the lights not half covered just to see. Also, RUF makes a urethane bumper for our cars that's done RIGHT and FITS so consider that too. Not the same 991 style look however which I want...

A lot of reputable members recommend precision although all of their bumpers are fiberglass. Would you say even with their reputation since it's fiberglass that it's not as durable?

I just researched more on Z Art Automotive on the Boxster forums and well as other P car forums and apparently this guy took a lot of money from people when his company went under and never delivered any product. I don't know if somebody new is in charge now or what but this seems to be a dead end
***EDIT**** NEVERMIND - Read Below!
Copied and pasted from another PCAR forum:
"Do not confuse Christoph Zeinecker with Andreas Zeinecke. The latter actually INVENTED the hard top design and has NOTHING TO DO with Zeintec. The two parties are members of the same family and that is a far as it goes! Andreas has his own business, "Z-Art" and currently works from Switzerland. He is to relocate and set up in Canada with a business partner. He MAY decide to manufacture the Boxster tops later on in conjunction with all his other quality products but this will be a completely separate to the Zeintec exercise. Andreas has run a successful and reliable business for many years and unfortunately, there are some who are linking him to the Zeintec debacle. This is WRONG and unfair in every regard and from my point of view, Andreas's reputation is as sound as it ever was and he should NOT be penalised in any way for what has happened to Zeintec. If Andreas decides to build the tops, they could possibly be made from aluminium which if course will make them much lighter and possibly cheaper but I wouldn't expect anything in the near future." -rogerkeith

Fiberglass isn't as durable, it won't flex at all. Bump a curb and you may crack it, rub a driveway and it can wear through, get hit by a decent sized piece of debris and it may star. I have a glass bumper now and would really prefer urethane but no one makes what I want although this piques my interest...
