Exhaust header gaskets
Hi guys,
I want to replace my exhaust headers, right now I just have new bolts and 2x 99611110771 sealings. Anyone can tell me where to get the small gasket for the head? See pic

996.111.215.70 is what you are looking for.
It's a metal o-ring type gasket, not what's pictured above.
It's listed as part of the turbo assembly, not the exhaust.
#3 in the diagram below.

So originally it's not necessary to install the gasket shown in the Picture, everywhere they are selling it with new headers

Ja, stimmt....
Those are "replacement" type gaskets. The indented ring in the middle of them is meant to do the same thing as the OEM gaskets.
Either will work but the OEM gaskets are better IMO.

I just bought some from Pelican, 996-111-215-70-M17 for $13.75 each.
They also have 996-111-215-70-OEM for $22.25 each.
Both are the rolled crush one-time type that came on the car and seal great.
