Any Advice on 20's For a TT

Just wanted to get some opinions on 20 inch wheels on a Twin Turbo. let me know for those of you that know.. thanks!

Don't get them.

why???

u have no tires to run with them. i'm sure there're people out there that'll sell them to u but 20''s will be way out of the 996 factory spec.

good luck!

I've Heard Not To DO It.. But Want to know why?? will it affect the ride (besides the tires being too thin) Let me know...... Thanks!!

It will not only kill performance, but it will look stupid.

the rolling diameter is out of spec so the 4 wheel drive system, ABS & PSM will be greatly affected.

this is beyond performance. it's about ur own safety.

My advice: There are far less expensive ways to diminish your performance.

I drove a friend's TT cab with 20s. It rode/handled like **** and they made the whole car feel heavy and sluggish. Whoever sold them to him needs an ass whooping.

The car has 19" Champions on it now, huge improvement.

I saw this land yacht looking car the other day that had like 25 inch wheels. Amazing that someone would even think that those 25 inch wheels on these 70s GM hoopties look even remotely good. The circumference was completely out of proportion with the arch of the wheel well. Maybe get some 18 inch spinners so you can have the bling without the drivetrain wear.
