My stock K16 car feels absolutely insane!! This makes no sense at all!!

I've been installing parts that most have said are "unnecessary unless you're making 1000hp"
Welp, yesterday I really got to test my car against some proven setups.

~40-140mph run against a fellow 996'er and a 2015 Viper.
Vipers mods were complete exhaust(headers, no cats, catback) tune and intake. Stock they trap ~128mph. We estimated this car would be around 133.
The 996TT is a K16 billet car that the week before put down 582awhp and 615awtq.
I pulled 2-3 cars on the 996 and the Viper had nothing for me. The Viper got the jump because he was blowing the horn and the gap from the jump he got never grew.

Could it be possible a stock K16 car is capable of 133mph trap speeds and well over 550awhp?!
I was under the impression, from most of my readings here, that 475whp is about max on a K16 car.

I can vouch for this because I was in the other 996 TT.

Haha glad to hear she's running so strong R! One way to find out would be to remove the inlet from one of the turbochargers. Take a picture with flash of the compressor and I can tell you right away. In the logs they look stock. Just a good running dialed in car. However it could be 16/24 hybrid or something.

I have seen many a high horsepower car go down because they started in the wrong gear or short shifted.

582awhp on a stock k16? That would be 100 more hp then i have seen. You must have upgraded turbos. The most i could make on those with every mod possible was 480awhp and that was high at 1.3bar anything after that is just hot air.

I think he said the car making 582whp was on K16 Billets, which is still impressive.

To make enough power to beat a well driven 582awhp car would also require a fuel system upgrade.

Later, Steve

Stock theyre running ultra high 120's. With all the bolt-ons running low 130's makes perfect sense.

here's one running 126 @1500ft

**** whatever you want.

The chase/video car ran 11.6@123. This run was before Mafless tune and filters on the front of the turbos.

This is with the latest mods. Getting rid of that intake mess made a stupid amount of power.
3rd gear pull. Video just for reference of how hard this thing yanks!

And I'm happy to run anyone from the area that thinks their car is making in and around 575-600whp.
I wanna know for sure myself. Because based off all the reading here my car should be in the mid/high 400hp mark at best

Cobb maffless tune by Sam 1.0-1.1 bar
Speedtech 3" xpipe exhaust. No cats, no mufflers
997 coils and fresh plugs
SRM intercoolers with optional 2.5" inlet/outlets. (Biger plumbing is Very important and often overlooked)
Filters directly on the front of turbos (made a huge difference in power)M parts to arrive and I will get some real numbers for the car.
Wanna see just what these stock K16's will do.
