The seat bottom easily pops off so you can remove that wire.

Ahh I was able to get the harness out but plugged the whole connector to the floor and still got the air bag warning light. I am sure if I do it this way I will lose the warning - or else I hope so.

if you have an airbag light you now need a dealer or shop with pwis to turn it off. possibly durametric pro will do it. thats why its critical to unplug the battery until all the plugs are reconnected

Yea - live and learn - have a Durametric and a shop to do it if it doesn't work. Thanks for the help again.

911mhawk is on a distinguished road
If you're ok with no adjustment and like it low, the BK floor mount works great with side mounts. My 34 inseam works perfect with gt3 buckets mounted to the floor, gave the passenger a recaro slider.

Thanks - went with 996 specific Sparco mounts - have a chance to return them if I don't like them and a set of sliders - will report back.

My enthusiast Durametric initially cleared the air bag light after installing new front seats but the light came back on right away.
Had to go to the dealer to fix.
