I can remember when people complained when he used 1995 993 GT2 K24's because they said they were old tech with different bolt styles. Guess what ............. he Roock new what he was doing as they are definitely superior to both present day K16 and K24's.

CJV this guys is smoking something serious and here's why.
Seller stated that this is exactly the car that C&D tested back in 2004.
Here's the quote from the magazine:
"The grand total of parts and labor is $86,890. Add to that a stock $120,465 Porsche 911 Turbo, and we're talking serious supercar coin."
"Price as tested: $207,355"
2002 911TT with the same milage retails less than 95K + 50% for price of mods and i think he should be lucky to get $140 for it. Instead starting bid is 5K over "MSRP" and reserve not met yet

How many cars have you prepared in the US that are running around with GT3 Cup heads? I know this setup is great for big power with lower boost. It's just I personally have not run across any here in Northern Calif.

I am not saying the car is worth what he is asking. I do believe the car is worth more than 95K.
Chad,
Rook never built anything in house as far as I know. I have built several motors for customers that researched the area for someone to build them motors only to find out that Rook would remove the motor and ship it back home to be built. Neil has confirmed that he also follows suit with his new company.

That is entirely possible. I know of others that also follow the same suit. As an American Tuner, you are part of a very, very small group that re builds a 996tt motor.
My point was and still is the use of GT3 Cup heads and the 993 GT2 K24's for a street application, was used by few and the few who used it were way ahead of their time.

so true!!!!!
