Almost 997 gt2 seats. Love the rrb's
Well yesterday I finally put my corbeau rrb seats in my car. They are a reclining full bucket. I used planted mounts. Besides a litre modding with a steel bushing and bolt for the seat belt latch, it bolted right in. Much more comfortable than the stock comfort seats and the support they have is 1000 times better. Very happy with them and will have them in the car until at some point it turns full race car. At that point it will get a full cage and fia buckets. Roll bar and harnesses will be added as well for autox and club track days.https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.6sp...90a1588320.jpg

How well does the lap belt hold you down? Seems like it buckles over the bolster and not through the holes in the seat? How much room between the bolsters? I'd love something supportive but end up on top of the bolsters rather than between them :-(

Looking SWEEEEET....! Very nice

Bolster to bolster on the seat is 15 inches.

On this seat the side bolsters are low enough that they will be below the level of the hips and I don't believe you would have any issues simply routing the seatbelt over the seat as Freddy is doing without looping it through the hole on the left side. |
Here is what the 6gt3 seat is like since Chris car is at my shop to look at.https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.6sp...34f53b2aef.jpg

Seats look nice. I'd love to have a full roll bar and the harness as well.

O I will be putting it through the lower hoop on the non latch side yes. Got confused on that one. Just have not done it yet

Ah, thanks for the pics and clarification! I'm thinking 15inches would be too tight. Sadly I'm no longer thin as I used to be and while I don't think I'm fat I think reality is a bit harsher! :-O One of these days I'll find something, at least I've got the sport seats and not the softer comfort seats!

Very nice choice on the Corbeaus. I've had their CR1s in my Chevy for the last 2 years and absolutely love them. About to move them into my daily driver as I'm getting a full cage and fixed backs in February.

Ah, thanks John! Indeed I think I'd fit that, whew! I'll have to take some measurements on my current seats and on me, food for thought for sure so long as belt routing could be done safely. Driving around here can be scary, one of my office mates was doing 55 and got rearended hard enough to shove the bumper to her back seat - it was a wagon! 2 others had their cars totaled recently and we've yet to have snow, secure belts desired for sure...
