Just curious, do you set the clock with the top dot as am or pm?

Seriously, I never had a clock with just dots designating AM or PM, every clock I own has text besides it or in military time or a dot just to represent PM.

Top dot is supposed to be for AM, but as you can see, it really makes no difference.

It really only matters for clocks with alarms - When you set the alarm, the dot has to be consistent with the clock setting so you know when it will ring.
