I recently updated my markski intake with some billet inlet adapters and some 3D printed clamps for the wire-reinforced tubing. Regular hose clamps just don't work nicely in my opinion. Much cleaner install now.

flex tubing size for Tip. trans

I just purchased this used intake plenum etc. (take off part) from a car that just sold.
I have a tip. trans. The tubing wont fit on the drivers side due to the extra tip. mechanicals. It will get crushed at one point.

Has any one had experience in installing this unit with a tip. trans?

John @ Speedtech told me it has been done.

Thxs in advance.

P.S., If i cant get it to work I will have to sell it.

I do not sell it to TIP clients as it does not fit on the drivers side. Thus, you were told right about the tubing getting crushed.

Yup Deejay, understood.
It was to good of a deal to pass up.
Long term project is to figure out a way to fabricate around the drivers side obstruction.
Im sure it can be done.

I'm sure smaller piping or a silicone reduction in that spot can be made. I just never concentrated on a tip since most clients have 6speeds. I had one of these in 2002 on my 6speed.
